Short-term rentals in Santa Fe de Antioquia: how much you can earn with a farm
FincaHouse Team · June 2, 2026
Santa Fe de Antioquia, a historic heritage town and a year-round tourist destination, is one of the best places in the country for short-term rentals. Its colonial architecture and its climate attract visitors in both high and low season.
The numbers
A farm with a pool for 8–10 people can charge between COP 500,000 and COP 1,200,000 per night depending on the season. With a realistic occupancy of 60–66%, that translates into monthly income well above an equivalent long-term rental.
The key isn't the nightly rate but sustained occupancy. Good management completely changes the return.
What to keep in mind
Set aside 20% to 30% for operating costs: cleaning, maintenance, utilities and platform fees. Even so, the net return is usually well above that of a CDT (a Colombian certificate of deposit). Use our calculator to run your own numbers.
